Why bathrooms need more than a daily wipe
Bathrooms combine two things that make deep cleaning necessary: constant moisture, and Bengaluru's naturally hard water. Hard water leaves mineral deposits on tiles, taps, and glass that a regular sponge-and-soap wipe doesn't remove — over time these deposits etch into grout lines and fitting surfaces, turning a bathroom that's cleaned daily still look dull or stained. A proper deep clean uses descaling agents specifically to break down that mineral buildup rather than just moving surface dirt around.
What's included
Our bathroom deep cleaning covers hard-water stain removal from tiles and fittings, scrubbing and disinfecting the WC, basin, and shower area, cleaning mirrors and glass partitions, wiping the exhaust fan cover, and a full floor mop and sanitise. The service is priced and booked per bathroom, so a 3BHK home with two bathrooms is charged for two visits within the same booking — you're only paying for the bathrooms you actually need done.
Hard-water stain removal
This is usually the most noticeable part of the job. Descaling solutions are applied to affected tiles, taps, and fittings and left to work before scrubbing, which lifts mineral deposits without damaging the tile glaze or fitting finish the way abrasive scouring pads can.
How pricing works
Bathroom deep cleaning is priced per bathroom rather than by property size, since the number of bathrooms — not the number of bedrooms — is what actually determines the job. This is the same pricing whether you book one bathroom or all of them in the same visit.
When to book
Bathrooms are worth deep cleaning more frequently than the rest of a home given constant water exposure — many households book every two to three months. It's also a common add-on when booking a full home deep clean, or ahead of guests, a change of tenant, or after visible staining has built up.
What's not included
Re-grouting or physical tile repair isn't part of a standard clean — if grout has degraded or tiles are cracked, that's a repair job, and our crew will flag it and quote it separately after an on-site assessment rather than attempting it as part of a cleaning visit. Fittings that are broken or leaking should be handled by a plumber first.
Products and equipment used
Crews use descaling solutions formulated for hard-water mineral deposits on tiles, taps, and glass, plus disinfecting agents for the WC, basin, and shower area. Products are chosen to be safe on common bathroom surfaces — ceramic tile, chrome and steel fittings, and glass — without the harsh abrasives that can dull a tile glaze over repeated use.
How to prepare for your visit
Clear personal items (toiletries, towels, bath mats) off surfaces and the floor so the crew has full access. If a bathroom fitting is already damaged or leaking, mention it before the crew starts — cleaning around a known issue is safer than attempting to clean through it. Let the crew know which bathrooms you're booking if not all of them, since this service is priced and scheduled per bathroom.
After the visit
Walk through each bathroom with the crew before they finish, checking tiles, fittings, and glass under normal lighting rather than the bright work lights the crew may have used. If a fitting was flagged for separate repair, you'll know before they leave so you can plan next steps.
Signs it's time to book
Visible white or grey mineral deposits on tiles, taps, or glass; grout that looks permanently grey rather than its original colour; or a bathroom that smells musty despite regular cleaning are all signs the buildup has gone past what a daily wipe-down can fix.
